How to become a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT)


To become a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT):


  1. Earn and currently hold a qualifying Microsoft certification
  2. Possess instructional skills (obtain an accepted Trainer certification or provide a reference supporting at least one year of instructional experience).  Train as a freelance instructor at LGIT Smart Solutions with your minimum 5-year enterprise-level product experience.
  3. Provide Microsoft with proof of your instructional skills (acquire a MTM Account)
  4. Accept the current MCT Program Guide & Agreement
  5. Complete and submit the application form to become a MCT
  6. Pay all applicable fees

Allow at least two weeks for the processing of your application. You will be notified by email if your application has been approved or not approved. If your application is approved, you will be granted access to the MCT member website.

  • GP Dynamics
  • SL Dynamics

You need to provide proof of your instructional presentation skills. You can do this by following a Train The Trainer course for instance CompTia or if you have an educational teachers degree that counts as well.

How do I become a microsoft trainer, I volunteered for a public school at my village were I was teaching basic computer literacy for Grade R up to grade 7 I worked for a year then I left home to Gauteng ,I have a dream of going back and train people but I don’t have a Qualification to do so and I don’t have materials to start
